You can definitely be beautiful with unadorned hair, but bridal accessories can take your entire look to a completely new level. Following advices from many bloggers/stylists and after a long online research I have recently purchased a mine at SoBridelicious Etsy store. It has quite a lot of pieces to choose from, mostly stunning bridal hair adornments and other wedding accessories.
But how to make a choice, when you have so many ideas and models? Making a research and walking around bridal stores I started with trying on anything that even remotely resembled something Dutchess Kate would wear. As time ticked by—and I admired the other brides’ clips—I had fun trying on more ornate styles. And finally found my perfect adornment – “A Golden Glimpse of Hope” piece with crystals, pearls and shimmering flowers.
Here are a few tips on how to find a perfect one for you:
- Decide what your hairstyle will be in advance. You need to know more than just whether you’ll wear your locks up or down. If you decide having a bun, do you imagine a high ballerina style or a low one that is swept to the side? Or, for example, if you have long thick hair you may consider bigger accessories.
- Try having a look at each piece from different angles. When you start hinging for a gown you try every potential dress from the front, back, side, and up-close. The same idea relates to choosing accessories – get a 360-degree view of each headpiece.
- Consider the color of the metal. The kind of the design should match the color of your dress. For example, if your dress has beadwork that is off-white or silver, a plain white hairband may appear too bright next to it. If you choose vintage style you may consider a hair clip or headband that has exposed metal (instead of the one, that is completely covered in crystals).
